And sooo much goes into each of those topics I've mentioned above. So study up. As Ezra Taft Benson said study the constitution that is my commitment to you all.

So life I was sick yesterday I was super duper dizzy and my body lost soooo much strength. I had like 5 nosebleeds because the air is sooo dry. The nosebleeds would last like 15 minutes of constant running well the last one I had I almost fell over while taking care of it. I was not feeling good at all I laced down on the couch and my body was soooo weak. Well I am better now!!!! We meet the new mission president today. Well I already have he came to me shook my hand gave me a hug, asked me my name, asked where I was from and then went on his way. So brief but good I get to receive trainings from him later today!!!

We have started the stop smoking program in our wards. It is a 15 step program that will allow people to quit smoking in 7 days!!!!! Doesn't matter how long they have been trying. This one lady we did it with had been smoking for 15 years and in 7 days she was repulsed by cigarettes when she smelled them she almost throws up now.

Well I'll tell you more next week!!!

July 4, 2016 Happy 4th!!!

4th of July was awesome!!!!!! Happy birthday dad!!!!! You are getting to be an old man!!! Hahahaha. Love you. Guys I've been out over a year everyone says time just flies when you hit your year mark!!!

Yesterday there were tons of people!!!!! Oh man the firework show was pretty awesome!!!! I LOVE FIREWORKS!!!!!!! Maybe that will be my job making fireworks. Anyways. At 4:30 we got up and went to the park where they shot off a cannon like 20 times it was SUPER loud!!!!!!
Then we started cooking pancakes at 5:00 started serving at like 6:00 and cooked and flipped pancakes until like 9-9:30 it was awesome!!!!

I have gotten to go under 2 houses one to turn on a hose I crawled under and gave the little knob a half turn and boom it was good!!!! The second house was We took out the floor in brother trails house we worked for like 4-5 hours we pounded the dirt and made the crawl space bigger we dug like 6-7 inches down in the dirt and that made a bigger space where we could get underneath. So I went underneath the house lots of spiderwebs and mouse droppings. Well I got under there and the insulation hit my arms and face, the fiberglass in the insulation is super itchy!!!!!!! While I was under the house I had to cut some copper pipe.

A guy named JD was baptized I'll send some pics!! It was awesome JD has been investigating for only 3 months, he stopped drinking coffee, he agreed to live the law of chastity, he pays his tithing, he fasts, and he comes to church all the time. He wakes up and has to be to work by 3:30 in the morning and he will remind everyone in the family who is already members hey we need to do family prayer and scriptures and then at like 11:00 he will sent out one text to us that said "is it normal that your eyes leak as you read the Book of Mormon?" I mean Holy Ghost present there. So it was quite exciting. He is like in his late 30's and the crazy part is he came to the missionaries and said hey how do I take he lessons and become a member? He wants to get his patriarchal blessing and the priesthood.

Well I know the gospel is true. God lives he is our father in heaven he loves us and knows us perfectly and unconditionally!!! Jesus is my friend he is a teacher he is my savior he is my role model, he lived a perfect life, he suffered in the garden and upon he cross so that we could be clean and return to live with him and God and our loved ones again in heaven. I know God answers prayers, that when we are going through a hard time we can rely on his love and mercy, he will help us in our lives he is aware of our struggles and knows our needs. This is my simple testimony in the name of Jesus Christ amen!!

June 27, 2016 JD and Service

So time to talk about the week. We had a lesson with JD this week we taught the law of chastity, the priesthood, and the atonement!!! A couple days before the lesson guess what JD said!!!!!!!! He said I can't wait until I am baptized then I can get the priesthood and also get my patriarchal blessing!!! His baptism is this Sunday!!!!!

We did some service this week. I took out half of the weeds In a backyard with a shovel so my forearms hurt Some weird lady at the store looked at me and was staring at me then she said "you would look SOOOO good with gold eyebrows"😮😮

So yeah not really much happened this week. So yeah

June 20, 2016 St. Johns

The people in Saint John's really take care of us. We get subway half off I got a huge fat foot long for 3 dollars and I loaded a 6inch up with veggies and only had to pay $1.49 that's sooooo cheap!!! We get free drinks from the gas station like the fountain drinks sort of like a big gulp. But not called a big gulp. We get free ice cream on Fridays and we get free snow cones once a week. We don't have a Walmart here in town. Restraints we have tlcs which is a family owned little diner. We have a subway we have a Mexican restaurant called el cupidos and an authentic Mexican place el camino. And for our stores here there is a really expensive store called Wilbur's which we will only buy eggs and fresh produce from like veggies and there is a dollar general which we shop at.

Fishing is sooooo fun!!!! I learned patience when we went fishing. I caught nothing for 4 hours and then in less then 30 minutes I had my limit of 6. altogether the 5 of us caught 30 fish. I got super sunburnt!

June 13, 2016 Transfers

Hey guys I have been transferred I am in a little town called St. John's. So it is awesome it is like 2,000 people or something around there. Mom well with the thing about heroes guess who my hero is. This area we have a part of the area called "the 40's" where there are 40 acre pieces of property . So the houses on this part of the area Are really far apart but it is a good thing that most of our area is not like that.

My hero is my dad he is such an amazing man. The fact He is a hard worker, he'll get things done, he loves having fun, he is a provider, he is a protector, and he is my father. I love him. He is one of the greatest people I know. Love you dad. Happy Father's Day hope you have a good one.

Preston this is for you bro keep running because it will keep you in good shape. Now guess what when you are at a meet you run as hard as you can don't just try to stay right in 2nd then at the end go to 1st. Run as hard as you can keep pushing yourself. Run super hard and you will see great progress.

Heath keep it up I can't wait to hear about you and your adventures you gotta send me a pic of you in your scrubs. Haha have a blast!!! Don't get scared of blood.

May 23, 2016 Mission Work and Yard Work Service

Hey mission is going well this last week was a little slow. We had some good lessons.

So guess what. I'm gonna talk a little bit about rescue Mervin b Arnold said these things

Principle 1: We Must Not Delay Going to the Rescue
Principle 2: We Must Never Give Up
Principle 3: How Great Shall Be Your Joy If You Bring Save It Be One Soul unto Christ
Principle 4: No Matter Our Age, We Are All Called to Go to the Rescue

Quinton L Cook said, “I believe with all of my heart that we are on the threshold of the most significant missionary success to date. Our challenge is to share the joyous, eternally significant gospel with our brothers and sisters so they can find peace and happiness and exaltation. With this in mind, how can we be effective missionaries?

First: Be a missionary all your life. President David O. McKay (1873–1970) taught that every member is a missionary, and it is as true today as when it was first declared.

Second: Overcome feelings of hesitancy or inadequacy.

Third: Do not be discouraged because missionary work is hard.

Fourth: Be a good example and take every opportunity to share the gospel (see 1 Timothy 4:12). It is not enough to preach the gospel. One must also live the gospel. 

Very often people are receptive to being taught because they have had a positive experience with a Church member. I know one BYU graduate who is a great example. He points out that there is a mirror quality to conversation. If we talk about the weather, people respond by talking about the weather. If we talk about sports, they respond by talking about sports. This friend says he asks people he meets about their school and listens intently. After they respond by asking him about his school, he tells them about BYU and then shares his testimony of the gospel. Then, in a positive way, he offers to let them learn more from the missionaries. He has been very successful in sharing the gospel. He has also remained on excellent terms with his friends who do not respond to his challenge because he genuinely loves them and is interested in them. I am very enthusiastic about where we are at this time in missionary work. But, as President Hinckley (1910–2008) always counseled the Brethren, “We can still do better.” There are great blessings, including eternal joy, in helping to bring souls unto Christ (see D&C 18:15). Missionary work is not just one of the 88 keys on a piano that is occasionally played; it is a major chord in a compelling melody that needs to be played continuously throughout our lives if we are to remain in harmony with our commitment to Christianity and the gospel of Jesus Christ. My specific challenge to each of you is to make a commitment to be a missionary for the rest of your life. If you look at your group of friends, there are many who would respond to the gospel if you would have the faith to share the message of the Restoration with them. What we desperately need is for member-missionary work to become a way of life--for the Savior’s mandate to share the gospel to become part of who we are.

Very powerful and good. So all of y'all do missionary work. Ok? What we want to do is not have to go out of our way to do missionary work, rather to make it a part of our lives to make it second nature


There are some crazy people out here in Arizona and also crazy people in the world. We were at the crosswalk and this guy was crazy!!! Well at first he seemed normal we were talking to him he said it is great what you guys are doing where are you from? I said Utah he said oh cool. Well it's awesome spreading the word of God. God is pleased with you guys. He said this world is coming to an end these are the last days. The last thing he said was he said "I am the messiah I forgive you both of your sins" we were like ummm. Have a nice day!! That was SUPER blasphemous. He was a crazy!!!

So I met a couple drunk natives one was named ace. He is homeless and doesn't dress like a homeless guy because he doesn't like to look homeless but you can tell he is. He got hit by a car and I felt his arm which is huge his tricep has a huge softball sized lump that is hard and all black and blue along with his shoulder and bicep all of which got smashed by a car. Me and my companion have had a couple close calls with drivers too. We will be riding our bikes across the street and we have the walk sign we get halfway across and my companion taps his brakes as a car flies past him and misses him by like a foot and a half. I was on the sidewalk riding and some crazy driver was headed pulling into the parking lot of a bar well we were riding past it and man I got so frustrated he missed me by 7-8 inches I was like holy crap people are nuts!!!! So yeah I'm having fun on bike.

Hey, y'all stay safe alright watch out for bikers and walkers be courteous to them because I know how hard it is to be out there with drivers who don't pay attention. Love y'all!!!

May 2, 2016 Mothers

To mothers out there I would like to speak to you today. Mothers are indescribable the things they do what they go through how much they love their children. I love mothers.  Jeffery R Holland said
        Prophesying of the Savior’s Atonement, Isaiah wrote, “He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows.” A majestic latter-day vision emphasized that “[Jesus] came into the world … to bear the sins of the world.” Both ancient and modern scripture testify that “he redeemed them, and bore them, and carried them all the days of old.” A favorite hymn pleads with us to “hear your great Deliv’rer’s voice!”

Bear, borne, carry, deliver. These are powerful, heartening messianic words. They convey help and hope for safe movement from where we are to where we need to be--but cannot get without assistance. These words also connote burden, struggle, and fatigue--words most appropriate in describing the mission of Him who, at unspeakable cost, lifts us up when we have fallen, carries us forward when strength is gone, delivers us safely home when safety seems far beyond our reach. “My Father sent me,” He said, “that I might be lifted up upon the cross; … that as I have been lifted up … even so should men be lifted up … to … me.”

But can you hear in this language another arena of human endeavor in which we use words like bear and borne, carry and lift, labor and deliver? As Jesus said to John while in the very act of Atonement, so He says to us all, “Behold thy mother!” No love in mortality comes closer to approximating the pure love of Jesus Christ than the selfless love a devoted mother has for her child.

Now I would like to speak of my own mother Anne Walker. You know my life has been a life full of struggle it has been a life of testing trying and of success and accomplishment and fulfillment.

Now the reason I mention that at all is because without my mother my precious mom I would be nothing!!! I would have zero self confidence. Mom helped me out with homework she loved me enough to cook and clean and get me clothes she took the time to listen to me when I struggle and had a bad day she took the time to comfort me when I needed comfort she always has an open hand and a willing heart. My mom looks for opportunities to do service all the time. She is truly one of the most Christlike people I have ever met!!!! Mothers don't get down on yourselves you mean more to your children than your children express words cannot describe how much I love my mom I can say though that I would defend her anytime anywhere I love my mother!

In school my teachers were not the most supportive of me I talked all the time in class I did the assignments a different way than they wanted me to I was smart but they didn't want me to do it that way so they always gave me zeros on my homework. The only reason I am out here right now on my mission the only reason I was able to graduate is because my selfless devoted mother would stay up with me making sure I understood my homework she would be up all night anywhere from 11:00-1:30 watching me, helping me, and encouraging me, all throughout elementary school she did this she even did it in middle school. And she would go to sleep and wake up at 4:30 to go to the gym so she could be in good health. One thing I will always be grateful for is that she would stay up with me but never did my homework for me I always did my homework but if a problem was wrong she would say now I think one of those is incorrect and I would have the opportunity to use my Brain to figure out what one was wrong.

So mom I love you and to all mothers future mothers and grandmothers I say to you be of good cheer yours is one of the most important callings God has entrusted you with it is your duty to raise and nurture your child in righteousness. Mother's Day is coming up now I know that all of you that are not mothers are going to say "lets do all we can to make it so mom doesn't have to do as much if anything at all!" Now I ask you why would you only do that one day out of the year? You should always help out your mothers whenever wherever you are and how ever old you are. No matter if it is Mother's Day or not!!! Mother's Day is a day to remember and give thanks to mothers for all they have done it is a time to remind them that they do mean more than words can express and that they are so loved by us.

May we all love our mothers but more than loving them show them that you love them by doing all you can to help them. We won't be able to but we can try to give back to them what hey gave us. They have done so much that it would take a lifetime or more to come close to all they have done for us. Love y'all mothers out there.
